To book a blood test

Speak to your GP – many surgeries are now taking bookings for their own patients. If your surgery is providing this service, please continue to contact them directly.

Or, if you are not able to book directly with your GP, you can book at one of our sites directly by using our new online appointment system. Click below and follow the on-screen instructions.

Please ensure you have an appointment before attending for a blood test and bring your blood test request form with you. We cannot take your sample without this document.

Online booking system

Please note that our online booking system, Patient Connect, has replaced our temporary phlebotomy call centre and is best accessed using Google Chrome.

You will be asked to provide a mobile telephone number as part of the booking process, which will be used to send you a booking confirmation number.

If you do not have a mobile phone, or require support to book a blood test appointment, please speak to your GP practice.

Please note to book a blood test for Under 12’s hasn’t changed. Please continue to book via Children’s Services.

A user guide for the online booking system can be found here.
