Veterans Awareness Group

At Mid Cheshire Hospitals, we encourage patients to 'say you served' so we can:

  • understand and meet your needs;
  • link you with a Trust armed forces champion;
  • connect you with charities or other organisations that provide specific support.

Are you serving or have you or a member of your family ever served in the Armed Forces? If so, please tell a member of staff.

Our Veterans Awareness Group can be contacted at:

Email: Armedforces.communityenquiries@mcht.nhs.uk

Mobile: 07979833218 (9-5 Mon-Fri) or leave a voicemail

Employing Veterans

171129_DRM_ERSGoldBanner_Comms.jpgWe proudly hold a Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Gold Award. Several of our staff are active members of the Armed Forces and Reservists or Armed Forces veterans. We recognise the transferable skills and cultural values of the Armed Forces community and how they are compatible with those required within NHS roles.

 Armed forces 2.pngMid Cheshire NHS Hospitals Foundation Trust has signed up to the 'Step into Health' national programme, designed to help all ex-Armed Forces personnel, veterans and their spouse/partner to join the NHS and we are a member of the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS).
