For a permanent post, Mid Cheshire Hospitals will normally issue a COS for an initial 3-year period.
For fixed term post, the COS will be issued to match the length of the fixed term.
Your visa application will need to match the COS issued by Mid Cheshire Hospitals.
YOU will need to apply to extend or update your visa when it expires. Normally, Mid Cheshire Hospitals will follow your initial 3 year visa with a COS for a further 2 years, as you can apply to the UK Government for “Leave to Remain” after you have lived in the UK for 5 years.
IMPORTANT : Your visa only lasts as long as your employment with the original sponsor employer. You will need to apply for a new visa if you change jobs or employer.
