Open day activities to mark Macmillan Cancer Unit’s £80k upgrade

The Macmillan Cancer Unit team at Leighton Hospital is inviting patients and visitors to an open day to celebrate the site’s £80,000 refurbishment. During the event, from 10am to 2pm on Saturday, 16 November, there will be live entertainment, refreshments, the chance to chat to staff, and a raffle.

Hospital opens new research facility thanks to £40k funding

Mid Cheshire Hospitals has launched a new Clinical Research Unit to help staff support more studies that improve care for patients. The Trust received £40,000 of funding from the Clinical Research Network – North West Coast to create the facility at Leighton Hospital.
