Alert (Warning)

At present, Isla Health is being used by our Cardiology Department to support patients in sharing information securely with their care team.

Isla_Logo_Orange_Transparent-1.svgMid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is working with Isla Health, a trusted digital platform that allows patients to securely share information — such as photos, videos, or questionnaires — with their clinical team.

How it Works

1. You'll get a secure link. We will get in touch with you via text message or email, containing a link from Isla.

2. You'll share information. This link will ask you to submit information requested by your clinical team, which could be a questionnaire, image, video, or sound recording. You don't need to download an app or register/sign-up.

3. Your team reviews it. Once submitted, your clinical team can then review the information to support your care delivery.

This helps us assess your condition more quickly, reduce waiting times, and ensure you get the right care at the right time.

● Isla’s digital pathway platform (DPP) allows clinical teams to collect and review information directly from you to support delivering care

● A number of specialities at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (MCHFT) are using Isla at different stages of the clinical pathway for assessing and managing various health conditions

Isla Health, a certified B-Corp established in 2019, is the health tech company behind the award-winning digital pathway platform (DPP) for healthcare providers. Based in London, Isla supports clinical teams throughout the patient’s care journey. The platform powers over 200 clinical pathways and processes >2 million submissions annually.

Digital pathways are essential for the NHS because they offer a practical solution to the current system's inefficiencies. The healthcare system is burdened by time-consuming administrative tasks, duplication, and disconnected tools, all of which take away from valuable patient time. Digital pathways tackle these issues directly by using remote information capture, asynchronous communication, and automation for predictable tasks like triage and monitoring. The aim isn't to replace clinical interactions but to streamline processes, thereby unlocking capacity, reducing delays, and restoring valuable time to care. This results in a more consistent, efficient, and scalable care model that benefits patients, clinicians, and the entire health system.
