Badger no background.pngAt Leighton Hospital Maternity Unit, we are moving from using paper based maternity records to an electronic system called BadgerNet Maternity. This allows you to have real time access to your maternity, neonatal or child records using details entered by your Midwife or other health professionals involved in your care via the Badger Notes app.

By using the Badger Notes app, you will have a single point of access to your maternity records, test results, appointment information, personal timeline, information leaflets and you can document your pregnancy journey.

Once you have access to your Badger Notes app, it is important that you complete your pre-booking questionnaire. This will help your first appointment to run smoothly and allow your Midwife additional time to discuss any questions or issues you may have. The questionnaire asks for social and medical information, such as allergies and special requirements. The information will be imported into your BadgerNet record during your booking appointment. This can be revisited and updated until the day of your booking appointment.
