Mid Cheshire Hospitals receives baby friendly award

Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (MCHFT) has recently been awarded the prestigious Baby Friendly Award and is the latest health care facility, and the first in Cheshire and Merseyside, to gain recognition from the UK Committee for UNICEF (UNICEF UK) Baby Friendly Initiative.

Work begins on NHS Charity funded £160k Baby Bereavement Suite

Work has begun to create a purpose-built baby bereavement suite at Leighton Hospital, Crewe. The funding for the suite was raised through a fundraising appeal called ‘Lost Little Ones’ which was launched by Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity (MCH Charity) in 2019.
