Mid Cheshire Hospitals is pleased to announce the appointment of Joanna Fawcus as the Trust’s new Chief Operating Officer.
Joanna brings a wealth of NHS operational leadership experience and a strong personal commitment to supporting teams, improving services and delivering great care for patients.
Joanna joins Mid Cheshire from the Northern Care Alliance, where she has been Chief Officer for Bury & Salford Care Organisation since 2022. She has held several senior operational roles across the NHS.
Throughout her career, Joanna has led large teams, delivered improvement programmes and supported colleagues through significant change, always with a clear focus on patient experience, quality and compassionate leadership.
Joanna will play a key role in helping the Trust continue to strengthen performance, build resilience and transform services for patients and communities.

Joanna will join Mid Cheshire on 7 May.
