The name of the WiFi patients and visitors access at our hospitals will change from 8am on Tuesday 3 February 2026. Please note, the Trust will continue to offer free, safe, unlimited WiFi to all of its patients and visitors.
From 8am on 3 February, the name 'Patient_Wifi' will no longer be available and instead you should access 'NHS_WiFi'. To do this:
- Click on 'NHS_WiFi' in your device's WiFi settings
- When the log in screen appears, enter your name and email address
- Accept the terms and conditions
- Proceed to the internet
The device will then connect to the hospital WiFi as normal.
During the changeover, devices will be disconnected from existing WiFi sessions. You will then need to reconnect to 'NHS_WiFi'.
The Trust continues to offer free, safe, unlimited WiFi to all of its patients and visitors.
Once logged in, they can also access online entertainment including TV through SPARK® Media.
Hospital Charity information is also accessible through the service.
