You may contact the chaplains by telephone, you may leave a voicemail message for a chaplain on extension 2721. Just leave a simple message - eg: Roman Catholic Chaplain to see Mary Brown, Ward 15.

If you prefer the ward staff will be pleased to contact the chaplains on your behalf.  Arrangements can be made for your own minister or priest to visit if you so wish. l If you are of a non Christian faith, arrangements can be made to meet your needs. Please ask a member of staff on the ward. For those of you who are well enough there is a weekly Church of England service (either Eucharist or Morning Prayer) in the Hospital Chapel on Sunday mornings at 11.15 am. Volunteers come to the wards with wheelchairs to bring people to the service. If you would like to be taken to the chapel for the Sunday morning service, tell the ward staff and they will arrange it if possible. You will need to be ready from about 10.30 am onwards.

The service is broadcast on Hospital Radio.

Holy Communion can be brought to the bedside if you cannot go to the Hospital Chapel.

Bibles are available on request on all wards.
