A Physiotherapy service is provided to Outpatients in the Rehabilitation Unit.  Facilities in the Unit include a gymnasium, electrotherapy room and large hydrotherapy pool heated to 36c. Referrals are accepted from GPs, Consultants and Allied Health Professions.

X-Ray Department

The Medical Imaging department at VIN are able to offer most general x-ray examinations that do not need the introduction of any contrast agent in the body.  The exception being teeth, which may have to be x-rayed at Leighton Hospital.  Currently there are two imaging methods available, these are x-ray films and ultrasound scanning.  All imaging requests must be made either through a General Practitioner, Consultant Team or the Minor Injuries Unit and each request must be fully documentated. X-ray is open Monday - Friday from 9am to 4.30pm.
