Local NHS Partnership On The Lookout For Independent Chair

19 March 2018

In September 2016 Central Cheshire Integrated Care Partnership (CCICP) came into being as an innovative health partnership between Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (MCHFT), Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Trust and the South Cheshire and Vale Royal GP Alliance.

The partnership aims to innovate, transform, develop and deliver community health services for people across South Cheshire and Vale Royal.

Following the partnership’s first year of transfer, and after undertaking a review of achievements and challenges, CCICP’s Partnership Board has decided to progress with an advisory recommendation and to appoint an Independent Chair.

The Independent Chair is a leadership and Board governance role and should have a background of working within the NHS or another complex public sector provider organisation. Some of this experience should be in a community service environment, preferably in Cheshire.

The individual will need to be ambitious with a proven capability to lead, inspire and motivate others within a complex community service sector. CCICP’s Chair will be required to facilitate decisions, make things happen, and be confident in working with the Partnership Board to develop and initiate strategic plans and work programmes that will lead to successful, sustainable change.

If your skills and experience, or those of someone you know, match these needs then CCICP would like to hear from you.

The post holder will report directly to the Chair of South Cheshire CCG (as an independent host employer) but will be accountable to the CCICP Partnership Board.

The post is being offered as a one year, fixed term position in the first instance and the remuneration will be £15,000 per annum (two days per month indicative time required).
