Have Your Say On The Cheshire East Partnership Five-Year Plan

2 August 2019

Cheshire East Partnership has written a Five-Year Plan to improve the health and wellbeing of the people of Cheshire East. It sets out what the partnership wants to do, why it wants to do it and the difference it believes it can make to the health and wellbeing of local residents.

The partners need to know what people think of the plan and have produced a brief survey to help you have your say. This is the start of a conversation that we want everyone to be involved in.

But before you take the survey, please take a few minutes to read this summary of the full plan.

By telling the partners what you want and need, you will be helping them deliver a better quality of life and health for us all.

The survey closes at midnight on 23 August 2019.

As well as taking the survey, you can attend one of the partnership’s engagement events and tell the local NHS what’s good about the draft Five-Year Plan and how it might be improved. Details are as follows:

  • Crewe Alexandra FC, Gresty Road, Crewe CW2 6ED. Tuesday 13 August, 10am-12pm
  • Masonic Hall, Riseley Street, Macclesfield SK10 1BW. Tuesday 20 August, 10am-12pm

What happens next?

We will analyse the survey findings and report them back to the partnership.

Your views, and those of the people attending the engagement events, will be reflected in a revised version of the Five-Year Plan. The partners will then have until 31 August 2019 to send the plan to the Cheshire and Merseyside Health and Care Partnership for consideration.

Any changes required will then be included in a further version for final approval in November 2019. Delivery of the plan would then start in April 2020.

The plan will provide the blueprint for the work of all organisations involved in planning, buying and providing health and care services – and the work of many other organisations with responsibility for wellbeing.
